About

We're building the desk we wanted.

Give people their attention back, without asking them to trust a black box.

We built SecondDesk because every AI tool we tried asked for the same thing: trust it to act as you. We wanted the opposite. Let software do the attention work (sorting, prepping, following up) and keep a person as the final click for anything that leaves. Three lanes, enforced in code, are how we keep that promise.

— The SecondDesk team

Four things we hold to.

  • Nothing leaves without your approval.

Per item, or under a standing approval you set. Never for clients, execs, HR or anyone outside your workspace.

  • Calm over clever.

A quiet desk beats a noisy one doing more.

  • Specific over vague.

    Numbers, names, reasons. Not adjectives.

  • Nothing pretends to be you.

Notetakers say who they are. So do drafts.
