  1. Device Control: your real Windows PCs, with hard stops on the PC

    • Pair a Windows PC with a one-line installer; it always starts paused.
    • Approve an AI job with your passkey and Claude works in small steps, each one checked again on the PC. Send, pay, delete and password fields are refused there and hand control back to you.
    • A stop hotkey, the tray or simply moving the mouse stops the AI at once, even offline.
    • Take control safely: the PC confirms it has paused before you get the desktop, through your own MeshCentral server.
    • Push-to-talk turns your words into draft jobs; other people's speech never does.
    • Share takeover of one PC with your partner for up to 7 days, approved each time. Early access for invited accounts.
  2. A calmer, more consistent look across every screen

    • One type scale, one spacing rhythm and one page header on every page of My Desk, Coverage, Admin, the website and sign-in.
    • Times and units stay whole (9:45 PM, 13 h), long titles use a second line instead of being cut off, and short copy breaks evenly.
    • Controls are at least 40 px on phones; each page starts with at most one notice under the top bar.
    • Presentation only: nothing about what SecondDesk does changed.
  3. One system for owner, delegate and admin

    • Owner, delegate and admin now see the same number for every open question, and each one shows how old it is and what happens if you do nothing.
    • Answer once: tap Sam's option, extend by the days he asked, or grant exactly what he asked for. It answers, acts and resolves in one tap, and can become a rule.
    • Overdue questions get a nudge at half time, then, if you allow it and nothing is sensitive, your usual choice applies with a 60 second Undo.
    • Back-to-back coverage windows now hand over cleanly, a suspended or expired delegate's window never starts, and the hand-back is always owed.
    • Admin ceilings: maximum window length, scope, grant hours and a required backup. Expired people are swept, offboarding is one checklist with Undo, and seats are counted one way.
    • Security settings that nothing enforces now say Recorded and no longer raise your health score. Idle lock and recording consent are enforced.
    • Repeat a coverage window weekly, a morning catch-up card, and fewer Admin tabs.
  4. Safer approvals, one conversation with your admin, and a calmer Review

    • An approval is checked again against your current workspace policy at the moment you click, so a rule your admin tightened a minute ago still holds.
    • A delegate can no longer approve their own edit of a draft, or approve something that is out of their scope or already decided.
    • Questions and access requests from your delegate show up as one Review row with one-tap answers, including a +N days extension; your admin has a Requests list with a response time.
    • When an admin tightens a cap, queued drafts are flagged with the reason, one notice says how many were affected, and there is a one-click preview to fix what the cap broke.
    • Review proposes a default for each card (press Enter), snoozes to your next decision window, and can send all safe replies or accept all routine invites after a preview.
    • Keyboard shortcuts follow one map across Inbox, Tasks and Paperwork, and the help sheet is generated from it.
    • Signing out now clears this browser's saved desk, so the next person starts clean.
  5. Orchestration: guests, bookings and your team reach you for real

    • A real booking page at /book/<your name>: guests pick a time in their own timezone and book once, even if two people click at the same moment.
    • One Meeting Hub link per meeting: when, RSVP, add to calendar, ask a question, and, after the meeting, their own actions. No account.
    • Respond, share and Desk links now work from any device, with real expiry and revoke.
    • One Decide card per meeting, accepts that apply themselves under a standing approval, a pre-ask that waits for the real answer, reminders, a recap on rails and a no-show card.
    • Honest by default: until the database is connected these pages say they are in preview, and email is queued only when it is connected.
  6. Admin: Guests, Ends soon and enforced access

    • One Guests page for share links and respond links, with a Pause all guest access switch. It shows same-browser demo data for now.
    • Ends soon: everything that ends in the next 14 days in one list, with Extend and Let it end.
    • Expired members are swept, and extending a delegate's window extends their access too.
    • Handoff health on Overview shows open and overdue questions between owner and delegate.
  7. Autopilot: SecondDesk runs your work on its own

    • One Autopilot runs in all three portals: it triages, drafts, files and follows up in the background, and every action has Undo.
    • One posture to choose, Cautious, Balanced or Hands-off, with the consequences listed before anything loosens.
    • Fewer places to look: Review, Inbox, Calendar and Automations have three views each, and Settings has five pages.
    • Send SecondDesk's suggested reply as written with one click and a 10 second Undo. Sensitive recipients still ask first.
    • Coverage: Sam endorses SecondDesk's draft in one click, coverage starts from your Away dates and the hand-back runs by itself.
    • Admin: one health score and one attention list on every page, and Admin Autopilot does the tightening chores while loosening, money and deletion still ask.
  8. Done for you: rules you approve once, desks, goals, first drafts and phone push

    • Standing approvals and rules now fire for engine-originated work, each with a 60 second Undo.
    • Turn on autopilot with one approval, and see how much of your week runs without you.
    • Decide anywhere: Approve all safe, a phone-first Decide sheet and push you can approve from.
    • An Answer bank, request routing, Inbox in 2 minutes and one composer in your voice that never promises a date.
    • Meeting need score, async-first, desk-to-desk scheduling, goals, Draft studio and a Friday packet in one approval.
    • Phone and desktop push, an AI gateway and live Google, each off until you set it up.
  9. Away-ready: decision windows, meeting presence, requests, trust and autonomy

    • Decision windows hold non-urgent drafts for your 11:30 and 4:30 and show what happens if they wait.
    • Meetings: six ways to attend, pre-meeting questions that resolve themselves, a private relay and a recap that separates proposed from agreed.
    • Requests merge the same issue from email, chat and meetings; one question when something is missing; your own words send with Undo.
    • Autonomy by workflow: Observe, Draft, Ask first, Auto, promoted only on a trial record, plus narrow standing approvals.
    • Admin caps, sensitive lists and verified domains now change what runs.
    • A Desk page where coworkers ask approved questions, send a request or book time.
  10. Website, passkeys and a polish pass

    • A public website with product, pricing and security pages.
    • Sign in with a passkey or an email link, and a one-click live demo.
    • Settings now include Security and passkeys.
    • A calmer type system across every portal, and cleaner badges.
  11. Admin v4

    • Editable role presets and separate workspaces.
    • Ask for the Admin Console, answered from your own workspace data.
    • Real ownership transfer and seat-aware invites.
    • Tile history, alert routing and tablet-friendly lists.
  12. Admin v3

    • The Admin Console: people, integrations, devices, AI policy, security, data, audit and billing.
    • An AI policy simulator that shows which lane an action lands in.
    • Audit log with before and after, retention by data type and PDF invoices.
  13. Coverage v3

    • A desk for the assistant: Today, Inbox, Calendar, Tasks and Waiting on the owner.
    • Scoped, time‑boxed access with one-click escalate.
    • A hand-back report of what happened while the owner was away.
  14. Owner v3

    • Every My Desk page rebuilt on a shared kit.
    • Today brief, Review session, merged Calendar and Ask SecondDesk.
    • A command palette with recents and suggestions for the current page.
  15. v2: four portals

    • 70 pages across My Desk, Coverage, Admin and shared guest links.
    • A lane engine enforced in code and covered by unit tests.
    • Remote work PC sessions and AI jobs that hard-stop at Red steps.
  16. v1

    • The first desk: Today, Review, Inbox and Calendar.
    • Three lanes with Undo on every automatic action.
    • Installable as a desktop app.
