Terms of service

Last updated October 15, 2026

SecondDesk is in early access. This page describes how the product works today in plain language. It is a working draft that the owner has yet to confirm with legal counsel, and it does not certify compliance with any standard.

1. Early access

SecondDesk is offered as an early-access product, free for now, as is. Features may change, reset or be removed. Sample data is made up, so do not enter sensitive or confidential information until connectors for your accounts are available. Pricing at general availability will be published before anything is billed.

2. Using SecondDesk

You may use SecondDesk to organize your own work. You agree to:

  • Connect only accounts you may connect
  • Keep your workspace members and delegates up to date
  • Tell meeting participants when a notetaker is present, as required where you work

3. Lanes and approvals

SecondDesk sorts actions into Green (automatic and reversible), Yellow (drafted for your approval) and Red (alerts only). You are responsible for what you approve. A draft is never sent until you approve it.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of your messages, files and recordings. You give SecondDesk permission to process them only to provide the features you turn on.

5. Delegates and admins

Delegate access is scoped and expires. Sensitive items always escalate to the owner. Admins set workspace-wide limits that individual users can tighten but not loosen.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. See the status page for current checks.

7. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, early access is provided without warranties and we are not liable for losses from its use. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use SecondDesk means you accept the update.
